Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Valopins China Site (valopins.cn) and Global Site (valopins.com). The site is a free, unofficial fan-tool project, and features may differ by region. By using either site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site. Personal-information practices are described separately in the Privacy Policy.

Language versions are intended to have the same meaning. If a translation conflicts, the Simplified Chinese version controls to the extent permitted by law; mandatory local-language, consumer-protection, and other non-waivable rights still prevail.

2. Eligibility

You should be at least 13 and old enough to consent independently to the relevant online service where you live. If you are below that age, you may only browse content that does not require active submission of personal information under a parent or guardian's supervision, and must not use feedback, sign-in, or contribution features. In mainland China, users under 14 must not use feedback, China Site sign-in, contributions, or other features that process personal information.

3. Acceptable use

When using Valopins, you must not:
— Submit unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, harassing, hateful, misleading, or malicious content or code
— Evade access controls, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, compromise security, bypass rate limits, or interfere with normal operation
— Submit content you lack the right to share, or impersonate or expose another person's identity or contact details
— Without written authorization, bulk scrape, mirror, copy, manipulate counts, train models, reverse-engineer non-public interfaces, or impose an unreasonable service load
— Resell, rent, or use the service in a way that may falsely imply endorsement by Valopins, Riot Games, or Tencent
— Misuse sign-in, contributions, ratings, feedback, or other features, including features offered only on the China Site.

This does not prohibit ordinary search-engine indexing that follows robots.txt and reasonable rate limits, or API and automated access we expressly authorize. We may limit, suspend, or block access for security, compliance, capacity, or operational reasons.

4. User-submitted content

You retain the rights you lawfully hold in feedback, lineup contributions, and other original content. You represent that you have all rights needed to submit and license it, that it is accurate and appropriate, and that it does not violate another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. Keep your own original copy; the site has no duty to preserve submissions or drafts permanently.

For publicly submitted content, you grant Valopins a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, sublicensable to technical service providers, solely to operate, moderate, store, back up, reproduce, reformat, translate, display, promote, and distribute site and related community content. The license lasts until deletion, except for reasonable backups, promotional materials made before deletion, prior public uses, and legal requirements. Non-public feedback is used only to handle requests, improve the service, and manage security.

We have no obligation to publish or retain a submission and may review, reject, make non-substantive formatting corrections, reduce visibility, or remove content based on law, these Terms, quality standards, game-version relevance, or user and service safety. You may request deletion at [email protected]. If your unlawful, infringing, or breaching content or conduct causes a third-party claim, you are responsible and, to the extent permitted by law, must compensate the operator for reasonable direct losses and enforcement costs.

5. Riot Games trademarks

VALORANT and related names, characters, maps, icons, and game assets belong to Riot Games, Inc. or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to use that intellectual property beyond Riot's applicable policies.

Valopins was created under Riot Games' "Legal Jibber Jabber" policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project. Valopins is an independent, unofficial fan project and is not affiliated or partnered with Riot Games or Tencent. Riot may revoke permission under its policy.

6. Copyright and content complaints

If you believe site content infringes copyright or another legal right, email [email protected] with: the rights holder and your authority to act; a description of the protected work or right; the exact URL or location of the disputed content; a way to contact you; and why you believe the use is unauthorized.

We will review the notice within a reasonable time and may restrict access, remove content, request more information, or notify the submitter. Notices must be accurate and made in good faith; false or abusive notices may create liability. This process does not limit remedies available under applicable law.

7. Disclaimer

Valopins is provided "as is," "as available," and with possible faults. Game data, lineups, crosshairs, practice and random results, user submissions, and external links are for entertainment and general information only; they are not official game information, a competitive-performance promise, or professional advice. Content may become inaccurate because of game updates, regional differences, submission errors, or third-party changes.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, continuous availability, security, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any feature, regional service, or content without promising continued availability, and we do not guarantee preservation of submissions, preferences, or history. Third-party links, services, and user content remain the responsibility of their providers and do not imply our endorsement. You must exercise your own judgment and keep necessary copies.

Nothing here excludes or limits a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valopins and its operator are not liable for loss of profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss. We are also not liable for loss caused by game-version changes, user content, third-party services, network interruption, device compatibility, or events beyond reasonable control.

For direct loss that may lawfully be limited, the operator's total aggregate liability for all related claims is capped at the greater of the amount you actually paid to the site in the 12 months before the loss or the equivalent of US$10.

These exclusions and caps do not apply to liability that law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including intentional misconduct or gross negligence, personal injury, fraud, and mandatory consumer liability.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for feature, operational, or legal changes and will revise the date above. Where reasonably practicable, material changes will be highlighted before they take effect; any legally required effective-date rule controls. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance, without reducing rights that cannot be waived by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please first contact [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction where the operator resides, except where mandatory consumer, data-protection, or other local law requires otherwise.
